Hi everyone 🙂
Today is a very special day as I am now the lucky owner of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette!
I just want to say a massive thank you to my wonderful boyfriend who kindly bought me this eye shadow palette for our anniversary this month, as I have been pining after this palette for so so long now!!
The elephant in the room here is the price of this palette which is a whopping £39.50 and I know this is majorly over-priced to some people, but despite loving this palette I definitely think that you are paying for the name of the brand as well as the actual product itself here.
But I can definitely say from what I have experienced using it for a about a week or so, this palette is definitely worth the hype and buzz around it because it’s an amazing product with incredible quality.
The packaging of each Naked palette is a different and this product immediately caught my eye because of the beautifully striking rose gold metallic design. You can definitely tell that a lot of thought and craftsmanship had been put into designing this truly remarkable palette.
The packaging for the Naked 3 Palette is a metal case which seems both sturdy and secure, keeping your eye shadows safe. This design does make the palette seem a little bit bulky for travelling with but you can tell that it’s substantial enough for nothing to break – which seems worth it to me.
The actual product itself is just amazing in my opinion, I really love the variety of shades provided in this palette as while there is an assortment of colours and shades and tones – it all sticks to a colour scheme.
All of the colours in this palette compliment one another, giving you the opportunity to create a wide variety of eye looks. It’s quite rare that you see palettes where all of the shades do this as a lot of the time they will provide you with combinations of their own.
The eye shadows also have an amazing creamy consistency which is also really refreshing as a lot of the time with drugstore eye shadows you get quite chalky shadows which generally come hand in hand with fall out. Strangely enough this palette does have a little bit of fall out of product – but only in the pan.
When actually applying the shadows to your eyelids there is no fall out whatsoever, which your makeup routine a whole lot quicker to do.
The pigmentation of this palette is leaps and bounds from what I am used to with drugstore palettes as a lot of the time with those you have to keep applying the product for it to show up.
However, with the Naked 3 palette you only need a little bit of product for it to go a long way which saves you product in the long run! And would prolong your usage of this product, which would also justify buying it because it will last you for a very long time.
I hope you enjoyed this post! There are plenty more on their way!
